Last night at our Sidewalk Cafe show, we met Scott Tran, a really talented singer/song writer/violinist! In the middle of his set, he said he was feeling off after the election and wanted to sing how he felt. He asked for audience participation regarding the chorus of a song. He wanted the audience to sing the chorus while he played, (if we knew it!) and low and behold it was REM's "It's the end of the world as we know it"! So of course we all knew the chorus part. He sang all the hard verses quickly and efficiency, then got to the chorus, which the audience sang. It was so much fun! Of course when the Leonard Bernstein part came, we all put our fists in the air and yelled LEONARD BERNSTEIN! haha!
Never ending laughs with the hilarious women from The Catch! I can never suppress a laugh or a grin while watching them. They are so funny and awesome!
Max experimented with his vast musical abilities, by bringing in an all digital, electric set, compared to his lonely guitar. Look at all that gear! He also used a mic on ear! Woo hoo, fancy! In contrast to all his electronics, he played 2 songs on the house piano which was suprisingly in tune. This talented guy always put a smile on my face.
Our friends, The Whores, had new songs and more singing/ harmonizing. Greg has an endless supply of pedals.
